That’s a great price, I want to proceed! How do I place my order?

Just click on the Submit This Estimation to Elanders button, double check your entries, and click send. One of our customer service experts will be contacting you to finalize your specifications and to discuss file transfer, delivery date, ship to location and payment. It’s that easy!

The options form does not quite fit my needs, but I still want to get a price quote. What should I do?

Please contact one of our customer service experts – who will make sure your project is produced exactly to your specification. We are available during standard business hours from 8:00 – 5:00 (EST) Monday – Friday. Use the phone, e-mail or contact form at the bottom of our pricing page.

Is there a best way to prepare my files for printing?

  • A print-ready PDF file is the preferred file type. Print-Ready PDF files process successfully for output without further intervention or manipulation.
  • For complete information – please see our File Preparation Guidelines. This document gives instructions and tips on:
    • Resolution
    • Color Space
    • Fonts
    • Image Sizes
    • Page layout

Can you explain your printing specifications, so I am sure I have chosen the correct options?

  • Proofing: If you would like to see a proof of your print file before your entire print order is produced, we offer (2) options:
    • Soft Proof = A digital PDF file that we e-mail to you for verification
    • Hard Proof = A physical printed copy of your book that we mail to you for verification
  • Cover Coating: We suggest that covers have some coating applied to them to increase their durability.  We offer Gloss or Matte options for both:
    • Lamination = A clear plastic film which is bonded to the cover stock post print process
    • UV Coating = A clear toner applied to the cover stock during the print process
  • Printing: Our print processes are 100% digital operations.
  • Bind Types: We offer multiple binding options to complete your book.
    • Perfect Bind = The cover is glued around the body pages. Best for page ranges of 40 and up
    • Saddle-Stitch = The cover is stapled to the body pages. Best for page ranges of 8 to 96
    • Coil Bind = The cover and body pages are punched and coiled with wire or plastic rings. Best for page ranges of 40 and up

Will there be any additional charges added to my price quotation?

We do our best to avoid unexpected charges after we have furnished a price quotation. However, you could expect these types of additional charges based on your unique requirements:

  • File Preparation Charges: If you need additional file preparation work outside of our standard offering, you may be charged additional fees.  This would be shared with you and agreed upon before any file preparation work began.
  • Expedited Charges: If you need your order to ship before the requested turnaround time designated on your options form, you may be charged an expedited fee.  This would be shared with you and agreed upon before your order was produced.
  • Shipping Charges: If you need your order to ship outside of the standard shipping option included in your price quotation, you may be charged additional shipping fees.  This would be shared with you and agreed upon before your order was shipped.
  • Tax Charges: Depending on where your order is shipped, you might be subject to taxes based on government rules.

How soon could I expect to get my order?

Once you have approved your proof, you could expect your order to ship within the turnaround time you designated on the options form. If you need to adjust your ship date, you can work with your customer service expert.
